Bring Hands On STEM to Your School
Tinker Sparks is an independent, veteran owned EdTech company running hands on STEM enrichment for children ages 5 to 13 across the Austin area. Our founders trained at Kellogg, Northwestern, UT Austin, and IIM Ahmedabad, and have sat in some of the toughest classrooms in the world. That experience shaped one belief: kids are far more capable than most programs give them credit for.
Our philosophy is simple. Most programs teach one subject; we teach them all, with real tools and real projects. Children build actual robots, write actual code, and solve actual problems in small groups of no more than 12 students. Rigorous where it matters, fun where it counts, and no busywork.
We bring the curriculum, trained instructors, and every kit and laptop. Your school provides the room and the students. Zero preparation required, and we work as a flexible partner on schedules and revenue arrangements that fit your school.
LEGO SPIKE, Scratch, Python, and modern AI tools. Students leave each session having built something they are proud of.
Maximum 12 students per group so every child gets hands on time with the hardware, not a seat in the audience.
Younger builders start with LEGO SPIKE Essential: motors, sensors, and their first working machines. Older students move on to circuits, real world hardware, and robots they wire and program themselves.
A clear progression from Scratch block coding to real Python. Students build games and projects inspired by the worlds they already love, including Minecraft style logic challenges, so the motivation is built in.
Age appropriate, hands on work with modern AI tools and machine learning concepts, paired with digital safety habits. Students learn what AI is, how to direct it, and how to think alongside it rather than fear it.
Chess, Pokemon, and puzzle play that build patience, planning, and critical thinking. The thinking skills behind the screen matter as much as the technology on it.
Two age tracks: Junior Builders (ages 5 to 9) and Explorer Coders (ages 10 to 13). Curriculum maps to grade appropriate outcomes across both.
