Terms, Conditions & Policies

1. Agreement

By registering for a Tinker Sparks program, you (the parent or legal guardian) agree to these Terms, Conditions, and Policies on behalf of yourself and your child. Please read them carefully before completing registration.

2. Registration & Payment

• A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your child's place. This deposit is deducted from the total camp fees.
• A final invoice for the remaining balance will be sent by email and is due 7 days before the first day of the booked week.
• Prices are $425 per week. Multi-week discounts apply: 5% off 2 weeks, 10% off 3 weeks, 15% off 4 or more weeks.
• A sibling discount of 10% off the total applies when two children from the same family are enrolled in the same season.
• Spots are not guaranteed until the deposit is received and confirmed.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the start of a booked week: full refund of fees paid (excluding the $200 deposit).
• Cancellations made 7 to 13 days before: 50% refund of fees paid.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before: no refund. A credit toward a future session may be offered at Tinker Sparks' discretion.
• If Tinker Sparks cancels a session due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund of all fees paid including the deposit will be issued.

4. Immunization Requirements

Our camps are hosted at licensed childcare facilities. Texas state law (Texas Health & Safety Code § 161.004) requires all children on site to have up-to-date immunization records on file before their first day. You must provide a completed Texas DSHS immunization form or equivalent school immunization record prior to attendance. Children without current records on file will not be permitted to attend.

5. Health & Safety

• Children who are unwell on any given day should not attend camp. No refund or credit is given for individual missed days due to illness.
• Parents must provide emergency contact details and any relevant medical information at the time of registration.
• Tinker Sparks staff are not medically trained. In case of a medical emergency, emergency services will be called immediately and the parent or guardian will be notified.
• All venues operate secure access and supervised drop-off and pick-up procedures.

6. Code of Conduct

We expect all campers to treat fellow students and staff with respect. Bullying, discriminatory language, deliberate damage to equipment, or persistent disruptive behavior may result in a camper being asked to leave without a refund. Tinker Sparks staff have final authority on all conduct matters.

7. Photography & Media

Tinker Sparks may photograph or record camp activities for educational, promotional, and social media purposes. If you do not consent to your child appearing in such materials, please notify us in writing at registration. We will take all reasonable steps to honor your request.

8. Liability

Tinker Sparks takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of campers. However, by registering, you acknowledge that participation in camp activities carries inherent risk and you agree to release Tinker Sparks, its instructors, and its venue partners from liability for any injury, loss, or damage arising from normal camp activities, except where caused by our gross negligence.

9. Personal Property

Tinker Sparks and its venue partners are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items brought to camp. We recommend leaving valuables at home.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Williamson County, Texas.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The current version is always available at tinkersparks.com/terms.html.
