About the Camp
Tinker Sparks is an EdTech company with a hands-on curriculum focused on robotics, coding, artificial intelligence, strategy and critical thinking, and STEM. We run Summer and Winter camps at select locations and after school programs at partner locations. This FAQ covers our Summer 2026 camps at two locations: Montessori Kids Universe Liberty Hill and Building Kidz of Leander.
Tinker Sparks welcomes children ages 6 to 13. We run two age based tracks so every camper works at the right level: Foundations for ages 6 to 10 and Explorers for ages 10 to 13.
Foundations (ages 6 to 10) start with LEGO SPIKE Essential, learning the fundamentals of building and block based coding. Explorers (ages 10 to 13) move up to LEGO SPIKE Prime with more advanced robotics, programming, and engineering challenges.
Each week blends robotics, coding, artificial intelligence and machine learning projects, science and engineering challenges, and strategy games such as Chess, Pokémon, Minecraft and Roblox. Campers also take part in team competitions, showcases, and indoor and outdoor challenges.

Yes. Extended care before and after camp is available as an add-on, which is handy for busy mornings and later pickups. After-camp care (4–5 PM) is available only with a Full Day booking that includes Strategy Club; morning drop-off care is open to all campers.

Safety & Staff
Groups are capped at 12 students, with a lead educator and a teaching assistant. Small groups mean more attention, more building time, and more fun for every camper.
The facility has secure, controlled access, and current immunization records are required for every camper. Our team is here to keep every child safe, supported, and engaged throughout the day.
Our curriculum is built by a team that includes alumni of Kellogg at Northwestern University, UT Austin, and IIM Ahmedabad, and Tinker Sparks is proudly veteran owned. The result is a program that is both rigorous and genuinely fun.
